Cassandra “Kaas” Cross is a multimedia artist from the Haida nation. Kaas has been in the film industry for 6 years working as a director, editor, photographer, cinematographer, and music composer. Kaas has previously helped produce a spoken word film by Andrea Grant that has been awarded the Venice Shorts Film Award and nominated by AIFF, the Los Angeles Skins Film Festival and Dam Short Festival. She has also completed a short doc called “Mural Life” and another short doc called “Dance With Me” for Telus Storyhive.Cassandra holds a Degree in the Arts and is also a certified drone operator.
